| Suriname unofficially reclaims Goodwill Games Swimming title |

Up to press time last evening it was unclear who had won the 18th annual Goodwill Games Swimming Championships, which was hosted at the National Aquatic Centre, Liliendaal but Suriname dominated the final day after starting ahead.
Suriname began the second day on 339 points ahead of Trinidad and Tobago who had 321.5 points while Barbados and Guyana were at the bottom with 253 and 120 points respectively.A more detailed article will be in tomorrow’s issue. |
