CHRISTOPHER Small, 20, of Lot 93 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was granted $15,000 bail on an assault charge yesterday.
He appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton and pleaded not guilty to having, on July 2, unlawfully assaulted Shabeena Ambrose. At the request of Police Corporal Simone Payne, prosecuting, the magistrate also ordered the defendant to keep the peace until the matter is determined. Small, who previously shared a relationship with the virtual complainant, gave the undertaking to stay away from Ambrose. He has to be back in Court on July 23. |
