| Prisoners escape from Mazaruni jail |

TWO prisoners escaped on Sunday from the Mazaruni jail reportedly during a fun day which was held on the prison’s playground.
Police have responded to a request for help from the prison authorities and a team has been sent to help recapture the escaped prisoners. The Mazaruni Prison is a maximum security jail for dangerous and hardened convicts. |
