Soul warming songs are now in silence In this musical land of magic and beauty Sad sighs are now our sorrowful songs The death makers are in parliament Producing tears And spreading darkness from their cruel hearts Their laws are built on shameful shadows Of pent-up hate Of craving for revenge Of special selfishness Indeed, those whom the gods detest They endow with insanity at first. Gone are the golden promises Sliced and slashed nicely Gone is the heart presented Sliced and slashed nicely They move across the stage Devising wars against the innocent Strange things are happening! Morons stride like peacocks Strutting to foolish strategies On the stage Of their soon-to-end tragedy. The power of the people will speak again The power of the people must speak again! For power is the people! |
